Keynote sets the stage for an impressive presentation. A simple, intuitive interface puts important tools front and center, so everyone on your team can easily add beautiful charts, edit photos, and incorporate cinematic effects. If you were using Pages '09 v4 (purple icon) from the (retail) iWork '09 DVD, (or the Mac App Store) — it too is no longer available from Apple as it was discontinued in 2013. If you do have a retail iWork '09 DVD (also available from Amazon and Ebay resellers), you can reinstall that into El Capitan, and then apply the Apple iWork 9.3 updater.
iWork '09 is not compatible with macOS Catalina 10.15 and later. To continue using your iWork apps with the latest operating system, update to the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

- Click Cancel to cancel the save or edit, leaving your original document unchanged.
- Click “Edit a Copy” to convert a copy of the document to the new format and preserve the original in the older iWork format.
Revert an upgraded document
If you've already upgraded your document to the new iWork file format and want to change your document back to a version compatible with earlier iWork apps, use one of these options:
Revert to a previous version
- Choose File > Revert To. This removes any changes you made and restores the version of your document that was saved in an earlier version of iWork.
Save a copy in iWork '09 format
- If you edited the document and want to preserve the edits, you can save the file as an iWork '09 document. Choose File > Export To. Then, choose Pages '09, Numbers '09, or Keynote '09 as the file format. See changes that occur when exporting to iWork ’09 for information on possible changes to the document.

Keynote For Mac Os 10.12
Present over video conference.
Like a pro.
Keynote for Mac allows you to play a slideshow within a window, instead of full screen, so you can access other apps and files while you present.
You don’t work in one place on just one device. The same goes for Keynote. Work seamlessly across all your Apple devices. The slides you create using a Mac or iPad will look the same on an iPhone or web browser — and vice versa.
You can also work on presentations stored on iCloud or Box using a PC.
Work together in the same presentation, from across town or across the world. You can see your team’s edits as they make them — and they can watch as you make yours, too. Just select a name on the collaborator list to jump to anyone’s cursor.
Add color, illustrations, and handwritten comments for more beautiful presentations with Apple Pencil on your iPad.
Teaming up with someone who uses Microsoft PowerPoint? Keynote makes it a great working relationship. You can save Keynote documents as PowerPoint files. Or import and edit PowerPoint documents right in Keynote.
